Dear Goldfish Community,

Together, we are experiencing unprecedented times – times of uncertainty and unknowns, impossible to explain to our children, and even impossible for us to understand. These are uncharted waters, but what we know for certain is that we miss you, that we remain committed to you, and we will get through this together.

As we continue to navigate COVID-19, we want you to know that our commitment to our community remains the same, and we thank you for your patience, commitment and support. We wanted to take a moment and personally provide an update as we continue to work together and move forward with a positive outlook on the future.

At Goldfish Swim School, our Core Values include treating people with integrity, compassion, and trust. We have been making all decisions with those values, as well as with the safety and well-being of all of our Goldfish families and team members in mind, which is why we have temporarily closed all our schools to do our part in helping slow the spread of the virus.

The compassion that you have shown us in our decision to close has been amazing, and we are so grateful to you for your continued support and trust in us. Our team cannot wait to jump back in the pool with your kids, and plan to open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so.

The last thing we want you to worry about during this time is your Goldfish Swim School Membership. Please know that your spot in class is saved! Your local Goldfish Swim School will be reaching out by email and social media with updates on reopening plans, once there is clear guidance and reassurance by local health authorities that it is safe to consider reopening.

While our schools are closed, we have been working on new ways to keep our Goldfish community connected. We understand how difficult these times can be, putting so much on your plates – and we want to help in any small way possible. If you haven’t already, please check out the fun activities we have added to our website, that you can download and enjoy with your kids today to make a splash in your at-home routine.

Additionally, we’re excited to announce the official rollout of Goldfish At Home – fun, virtual dry-land swim lessons that can keep your swimmers practicing until they can get back in the pool, coming to the Parent Portal later this week!

As a franchise system made up of small business owners passionate about keeping the children of more than 100 communities across North America safer in and around the water, we are thankful for each and every one of our members, because without you and your continued support, we would not be lucky enough to continue to do what we love, and spread the important message of water safety. So, on that note, we’d just like to say thank you! We cannot wait to welcome you all back to the pool as our team works to provide nothing short of a Golden Experience.

COVID-19 will not stop our amazing community. And it will not stop Goldfish Swim School in sharing the importance of water safety.
